Based near the base of Rakko mountain in Kochere county, Abebe Cherfo produces washed coffee from his 5.24 hectares of coffee farm which is predominantly covered with a local landrace coffee variety called Kurume. Abebe has 11 farm plots which are found distributed in Reko village that lie within a range of 1921-2000 meters. He is amongst very few smallholder coffee farmers who can produce organic certified washed coffee from Kochere in Ethiopia.
