Located in the Birbirsa Kojowa district of the Oromia region, the station sits at 1,800 to 2,100 meters above sea level, where heirloom varietals are cultivated under the shade of native trees like Albizia, Enset, and Acacia. This unique agroforestry environment allows the cherries to ripen slowly, developing complexity in every cherry.
